There is no way to give an exact number of shots that any target can take because there are simply too many variables: draw weight, shooting distance, spreading out shots, compound or recurve, age of target, target care, etc.

If you are shooting at the same spot over and over again, you will start to see arrows poke out the back side. If you do not rotate your target faces the foam is not allowed to re-expand. Draw weight and diameter of arrows will also give different penetration depths. If your arrows are going in up to or past the fletchings, or are passing completely through, please contact us.
All of our targets can be used indoors or outdoors, but we do NOT claim them to be waterproof. The foam has low water absorption and is resistant to mildew, mold, rot and bacteria. It is a non-hazardous, recycled material. The wood on the tops and bottoms is made for us by a local pallet company. It is NOT treated lumber. We have a target at home that has been left outside, uncovered, year-round for the last 4 years and the wood has not rotted at all. We DO suggest that if you will be leaving the targets outside, without a cover or roof of some kind, that you use any type of wood sealant on the tops and bottoms for added protection from moisture.
If your arrows are passing completely through the target or the fletchings are being buried, be sure you are spreading your shots out and utilizing all shootable areas of the target for optimum target performance. Regularly rotating your target and keeping the wear the same on both sides will also prolong the target’s life. Target faces in 1″ and 2″ thicknesses are also available to order with your target to help with longevity. If your arrows are passing through/burying past the fletchings after only a few spread out shots, please contact us.
Our high poundage targets will normally stop a crossbow bolt, but we do not recommend using them with our targets. Crossbow bolts are shorter and will penetrate the target further than arrows from compound or recurve bows. This will make bolt retrieval difficult and can possibly result in your bolts getting ruined or stuck in the target.
We currently only ship within the Contiguous U.S. (All of the United States except Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico)
We currently do not have dealers. Basically, we are selling our targets at wholesale pricing and that doesn’t give us much room to give dealer discounts that would be large enough for the dealer to make a decent profit off of. This may be something we get into in the future.

Currently the only colors of foam that we are receiving from our suppliers are black, grey, white and some blue. Majority of targets will be black and/or grey. We will contact customers before using any color besides black, grey or white on an order to be sure that color is not an issue before building the target(s). Because the foam we receive is recycled material the colors we have available are dependent on what we receive from our various suppliers.
Yes, we offer the option to purchase replacement sleeves. To purchase replacement foam for your current target you will need to email us to place the order. The foam layers are not listed on our website to purchase. Replacement foam can be ordered by the foot and cut to the size of your current target. We use a medium density closed cell foam. The foam has low water absorption and is resistant to mildew, mold, rot, and bacteria. It is a non-hazardous, recycled material. The foam itself has a 15-year life span before it will begin to deteriorate. This is NOT the life span that we claim for our targets, it is ONLY the life span of the FOAM ITSELF before it will start to deteriorate.
